This sharp-looking Sony CD receiver boasts twenty-three watts by four channels of power. The detachable, fold-down faceplate offers an extra bit of security. With the seven preset equalizer settings, you can compliment the three-band equalizer to perfect your listening desires. Sony's Dynamic Soundstage Organizer is special Sony circuitry which induces subtle phase shifts, simulating a sound source that sounds higher than the actual speakers. What does this mean in terms of listening pleasure? Basically, it lifts the music from low on the door (depending on your vehicle) and makes it sound like the music is coming from the dash. Thus, a more direct and clear sound is created. This unit offers three levels of DSO, each with a larger and higher soundstage.

The FM/AM receiver offers eighteen FM presets and twelve AM presets. The CD player supports audio CDs, plus CD-R/RWs. To help you operate the radio while driving, Sony has engineered the radio with large buttons, including the easily accessible Source button. Additionally, this radio has a remote control, allowing for hands-free operation while driving. With the pair of preamp outputs you can further enhance the sound of the radio.
